FOCUS

The primary focus of this website is to unite the batch mates of S. Thomas’ College Mount Lavinia, Class Group of 1990 into one single Association, to encourage, foster and sustain the brotherhood formed during our student days and to provide an easily accessible medium via which we may interact with one another as well as the larger Thomian fraternity and amongst other things; to jointly discover ways in which we may all participate in the future development and continuance of this unique and unparalleled Alma Mater of ours, our very own “school by the Sea”!

Our Association, the STC Class of ’90 is non political, non sectarian, non profit oriented and charitable in nature, and operates on an equal opportunities policy in all its dealings.

OBJECTIVES

Gentleman of ’90 (and others) … there’s lots to be done and plenty of ways in which we could involve ourselves in them.Know More on Events.

Therefore whilst our primary objectives remain at:

  • fostering the progress of our members and their immediate families;
  • promote, actively seek to ensure, uphold and protect the general well being and welfare, sustenance and development of S.Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia and our affiliated brother schools, and;
  • do our little part and contribute to the society we live in;

There are specific projects that are presently underway where you will find numerous ways in which you may wish to participate, we encourage you to visit the “Projects Page” and come on board with us, to join as one strong unified force towards maintaining our beloved Alma Mater in its true and deserved pristine glory, the best that there ever was …. or ever will be …..

MANAGEMENT

In terms of our Constitution our Association is managed by an Executive Committee elected by the membership at an Annual General Meeting. The Executive Committee members are entrusted to manage the events, projects and finances of the Association during that year.

The Ex Co have undertaken the renovation of the Tuck-shop and Pavilion as our project for 2008. We would welcome any comments/suggestions in this connection or if any of you were to know of and/or suggest any future projects that you may wish to involve yourselves in.

The current project value is approximately 1.5 Million Rupees. Our challenge is to raise this money from within the batch and we are confident that with your support and the hard work that is being put into fund raising at the moment – we WILL succeed!
